A wine producer attentive to the emblematic terroir of Corsica
Real research efforts on old native grape varieties began in the 1960s. Several endemic grape varieties were planted and then carefully examined for many years. It was in 2006 that this work first bore fruit, creating the first Collections Cuvées based on old Corsican grape varieties. Made up principally of emblematic grape varieties like Vermentino, Sciacarello or Nielluccio, the vineyard is home to another 18 native grape varieties that, today, constitute a real jewel in the wine heritage of Corsica. White grape varieties: Bianco gentile, Barbarossa, Biancone, Brustiano, Carcajolo Bianco, Genovese, Paga Debbiti, Rossola Brandinca, Rossola Bianca, Riminese. Red grape varieties: Aleatico, Carcajolo Nero, Minustello, Morescola, Morescono, Montanaccia.
